3 Hunting Tips For Hunting Deer

Hunting is very popular sport in the US that has been around for a long time.  It is a great sport but also an important skill to preppers and survivalists.  It is important to know how to track animals and as you do so, know how to creep up on your prey, learn how adrenaline affects your use of a weapon, and how to properly use the right weaponry to make your harvest.  Whether you are hunting for sport or hunting because your life depends on it, our online company has the equipment you’ll need to make your hunt successful.  In addition, here are 3 tips to help you make your hunting experience great, specifically your deer hunting.
1. Find a good deer location - Finding the perfect place to hunt is the first challenge.  A deer has three items that they focus on; eating, sleeping, and mating.  It is important to look for hunting areas that contain a  combination of clover, rye, or other grain crops and then look to see if you can find deer trails near by. Areas of thick cover or wide open CRP  lands are perfect bedding locations for deer. Setting a stand location  between the bedding cover and the feeding areas allow for optimum deer sightings.  Know when mating season is because that is the time when deer hunters have an advantage due to deer's senses being dulled  and the bucks are searching for doe's to breed.

2. Don’t smell - When hunting for deer you want to make sure you are free of perfume, scented shampoo, skin cream, soaps, or deodorants and other non-natural scents because deer will be able to smell you..  There are a variety of soaps and cover scents available  to keep deer from smelling you.  It is also important to be downwind of the deer.

3. Get the right gear - Good quality camouflage is  important as it breaks up the human silhouette so you look more natural like a tree or bush.  The right rifle is essential in your hunt.  There are many varieties of hunting rifles and calibers nowadays which make it hard to know which is the best for beginner or experienced hunter.  When deer hunting you want all the advantage you can get so make sure you choose your rifle and optics wisely
